 is located on the banks of river Pennar. This temple is famous and is considered equal to Lord Vishnu Temple at Srirangam and the deity is called Talpagiri Ranganatha Swamy. The temple is known for its architectural values and is more than 500 years old. The famous Mirror Hall in this temple is a treat to watch.

 This Temple is situated on a hill called Vedagiri and is 20kms away from Nellore. The deity in the temple Lord Narasimha is considered very sacred and you can see the entire Nellore Town from the top of this Vedagiri hill.

 This temple in Jonnawada is dedicated to Goddess Kamakshi alongwith Mallikarjuna Swamy and is considered as powerful as Kanchi Kamakshi. You can see a "Sri Chakram" in the temple installed by Sri Jagdguru Sankaracharya. This temple town is situated around 12 kms from Nellore.

 This famous Bird Sanctuary is around 60kms away from Nellore. It is located on the banks of Pulicat River and is spread over 486 sq. kms. Best time to visit is during October and November. The famous Siberian cranes and nearly 160 species of birds from USA, China, Antarctica and many more can be seen here.

 The Indian Space Research Organization has established SHAR Centre near Sullurpet and is 100 kms away from Nellore. .More than 325 sounding rockets have been sent from this space centre. The famous SLV-3 satellite was launched from this space centre. You need prior permission from the authorities to visit this centre.

 This is located around 15kms from Nellore. The Central Govt., is developing this into a mini port. This port was in existence right from the period Chola dynasty. It'll be nice to spend few hours near this port.

 25 km.away from Nellore, this is a fine sandy beach. A determined sea lover will find the entire coastline of Andhra Pradesh stunningly appealing with azure sea waters gently washing the sun kissed sands and lush green vegetation providing an enchanting back drop.
